Sherwin Linton will be doing a song dedicated to the steel guitar. This event has gotten good response. Hope to see many new faces there.

Bump. People are calling and getting excited. Should be a full house. I will broadcast the introduction live on Facebook at 1:00 pm (CST).

Hoping someone will post pictures of the social event of the season in Wright County. Would have loved to attend, but had previously committed to another gig about a thousand miles to the Southwest.

Sorry about the delay but the MinneSteelGuitar Event was a great time. The best part was that many people who came had never seen a steel guitar but only heard the sound of it. Also several young musicians attended thus bringing the pedal steel to the next generation.

A big shout out to Brian Peters who did a fantastic job of playing and explaining the steel. One of my co-workers who came said it was the first time he understood what that funny looking instrument did.

To watch the videos go to MN STEEL GUITAR facebook and enjoy.

I really missed the boat on this one. I wasn’t aware of it till I just read it. I will keep it in mind to check this thread more often.
