NV1000 has distorion cuts in and out
it does clear up for a while. Peavey still repairing amps.

Before sending it, try plugging a cable into the effects loop jack and run it in and out several times. Or use a cable from the send to return and leave it there. Those jacks get dirty and can cause issues like that.

What Larry said. There is the Pre-EQ loop, Post EQ loop and on the rear Preamp Out/Power amp in.

you may also try spraying a 1/4" plug with 'Deoxit' spray (the type that contains lube also) and inserting and removing it a few times into each input/output jack before installing the jumper cords suggested. This may help clean and lube the contacts on the inputs.
