Close Please MSA D-10 Rosewood Classic

Post by Terry Wood »

This is a Beautiful Rosewood MSA Classic Steel Guitar, and it's in Great condition. Someone previously installed the MSA Super Sustain pickups. I had one of these MSA Classic Steel Guitars years ago. This Steel plays very easy and has Super Tone. It's an excellent guitar and the case is in really good condition too. I'll sell her for $2500 and you pay shipping in the Continental U.S. only. I'll be willing to meet within a reasonable distance from my area.

This is the underneath side. She's clean as a whistle and easy to change setup if you want something else.

My number is 417-241-9455. Upon sale I will make a donation, as always to the Steel Guitar Forum. Thank Y'all

Something else about this Steel Guitar is that it has been pre-machined, so as to add two more floor pedals if someone would want to do that.

Lowered the price $2600 plus shipping. This is a Great Steel Guitar much better made than a lot of newer Steel Guitars. These Steel Guitars just don't wear out like the lighter models. It sounds great and it has tone to the bone too. Case is in Great condition too

Bump for a Great Steel Guitar! She's still for sale! I'll put this Steel Guitar up against the new Steel Guitars made these days. Tone, ease of playing, easy to re-arrange to any other pedal setup, has Emmons setup, other pedals can be added if wanted. It has SuperSustain pickups. Case is in Great condition and it is a very pretty Steel Guitar. $2600 and shipping and she can be yours. Buy a new one like her and you'll spend about $5,000 to $6,000. Contact if your interested. Thanks

This is a Great Steel Guitar if anyone is interested in playing a double ten. It's in great shape and so is the case. It's setup with the Emmons setup. New strings on it. Stays in tune, plays great and it sounds fantastic. You won't find a better double ten vintage MSA like this one and for this price. I'll meet within a reasonable distance from my location in Missouri. If you want it shipped you pay for the ride. Any questions call me leave a voice message and or text me. The price of $2400 is firm on her. She's a Beautiful Steel Guitar.

Bump once again for this Great Steel Guitar! This guitar has been well cared for and in great condition. It has everything you would need or want in a double ten Steel Guitar. I had two of these MSA Classic Steel Guitars and these Steels are well made. They play well and sound super. Last reduction price for it. If anyone is interested in buying a pro Steel Guitar for a very reasonable price you need to contact me. If not, I'll keep it and play it occasionally myself. Call or text me at terrywood1955@yahoo.com or my cell phone 417-241-9455.

Thank you, Hunter Jones, for your great question.

I'll try to answer and clarify by sharing this information. We had a weigh-in tonight August 30, 2023, at our house. We weighed the four Pedal Steel Guitars that I now have. It was done using my new set bathroom scales.

Here were the weights on these four steel guitars.

1) Vintage Lloyd Green Sho-Bud 3pedals and 4 knee levers, in the factory case weighed 58.8 pounds.

2) My new custom made GFI 12 string Pedal Steel with 7 floor and 5 knee levers using a Universal setup, in a Flight case weighed 71.0 pounds.

3) my 1985 Zane Beck 14 string BMI Steel Guitar with 9 floor and 5 knee levers in the case weighed 82 pounds

4) The Double 10 MSA Classic Rosewood Steel Guitar weighs 52.0 out of the factory case, and in its case 75.8 pounds.

Those are the approximate weights of each of these Steel Guitars.

The MSA Classic Steel Guitars are great sounding, playing Steel Guitars.

Some might question the weight of it, but as can be seen by this, that it's really not any heavier than other Steel Guitars of its style.

The tone is great on this Steel Guitar. My original MSA did not have the MSA Super sustain Pickups. This one does have those pickups.

It comes with 8 floor and 4 knee levers. It was pre-machined at the factory for ease of adding other levers and floor pedals if needed or desired.

Curly Chalker and Bob White were two of the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame Greats that played the MSA Steel Guitars. Those guys along with Reece Anderson were the reason that I chose to play their Steel Guitars years ago. Reece Anderson and I were good friends for 35 years. Bud Carter and others were great designers and builders of MSA Steel Guitars. MSA don't and never did build any junky Steel Guitars. I have owned 3 MSAs since my playing of nearly 48 years of Steel Guitar playing.

Any other questions that I can answer, I'll be glad to do so.

Again this is a Great Steel Guitar!

Thank you!
