Question re this PSG close??

Post by Gary Hoetker »

Please click the link below for a karaoke version of Ray Price's recording of "The Same Old Me". What would are the fret, string(s), and pedals, knee levers combinations used in the closing around the 2:36 mark for the Jimmy Day e-9 set up?
Thanks so much for any help.

Sounds to me like 14th fret, strings 8, 6, 5, (hit your B pedal, then A pedal, release, and slide back to the 2nd fret and engage A and B again, sustaining throughout.

B is your second pedal and A is your third, if you're playing 'Day'.
Roger Rettig - Emmons D10
(8+9: 'Day' pedals) Williams SD-12 (D13th: 8+6), Quilter TT-12, B-bender Teles and several old Martins.
