"Food for thought"

Post by Rick Kornacker »

Hey Paul! This must be my night for catching up with some old buds "up nawth"! Regarding Duane Marrs " push pull Emmons conversions to all-pull. Not many were done up this way. Knowing Duane as I did the project was inspired by Duane's nature of being open to experimentation. Probably opened up a "can of worms" as to what it sounded like..just like a push you'll or...perhaps something more unique? Cool idea though. Duane built my second Marrs guitar with a lacquer finish outside and mica all underneath! Another cool idea though. It would appear that his "conversion" predated the "LeGrande" maybe? I'll shut up now. Hope you're doing and playing well! Regards,RK😉

Unless I'm missing something to me it's still a push-pull. The only difference I see is that it has Sho Bud syle pedals instead of Emmons.
