Hi friends!
After spending a decade or so studying and transcribing various pedal steel recordings, I am FINALLY releasing some original music. So here is the first excerpt from an upcoming full-length instrumental pedal steel album.
A word of warning: if you are strictly a fan of straight up country music, this ain't it. And that's kind of the point. I wanted to demonstrate that the pedal steel guitar can and should be used in other musical genres, and maybe do my small part to introduce it to other audiences.
So anyhow, here it is, streaming on every major platform:

Hope you like it!
p.s. the cool steel stuff starts at 1:40, just hang in there.

That you on keys as well?
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
