Raining In My Heart

Post by David Wisson »

Hi All Heres my take on an old Buddy Holly song. I was born the day the music died 3/2/1959. Hope I didn't kill it. Dave :) https://soundcloud.com/user-627782904/r ... al_sharing

David, maybe you are the recreation of that music. Excellent job on a nifty song.

Funny thing is last year I came across this song and gave it a shot to see how it sounded on solo steel. It was still on my list as a to do project needing some refinement. For whatever reason I forgot about it. Nice to hear your take on this. I also played along with Johnny Rivers "Poor side of Town" Dipping back into my youth with found memories.

Hi Larry we played it in a band I was in must have been about 21 at the time. I was always coming up with extra chords to put in songs. the lead singer used to say I put to many chords in. Years latter he said he couldn't play the songs with out them. Dipping back in to youth I can do. Remembering what my Wife asked me to do today is the problem. Dave :D
