Hi All haven't posted for a long time. Here is a song I recorded on a 12 string Uni 8 pedal 6 knee lever pedal steel guitar I made. Hope you like it. Dave https://soundcloud.com/user-627782904/t ... al_sharing :D

Hi Nigel glad you liked it. It's nice when you find a song that inspires you. You can tell which ones they are if they get all the way to the end without fizzling out.I tend to get bored towards the end. When I retire I will do a Lloyd and revisit the endings Dave

Hey David! Another winner, featuring you! Been amazed here lately with you and a number of others wonderful contributions. I marvel at the exceptional quality of your recorded tone and overall sound(David Hartley, of course, comes to mind). You got some winners going on and I'm enjoying it bigtime. If I am able to beat or manage my illness, especially the neuropathy in my hands and feet, I'll be back in the game. Also has been difficult to not have a guitar right now...first time in almost fifty years. You,and others like you keep me going in a great way. So keep it up!

Hi Rick thank you for your kind words. I have just got back from a week in Dorset with our Granddaughter. I have been getting Sciatica in my left leg. had to keep stopping the car and running around like a mad man. Wouldn't like that all of the time. I recorded from guitar to a Focusrite Scarllett straight in to the PC with Sanford Reverb plugin which is a free download from Looperman Web site. Lets hope you get on top of your illness soon. I have Heart problems that knock me back every now and then but on a roll at the moment. Dave

Just a thought...

Hey David! Have never heard a steel "cover" of "The Warmth Of The Sun" (Beach Boys). Steel melody with steel pads. Great chord progression (Brian W.). There' a phenominal version on YouTube with Willie Nelson singing, with the Beach Boys singing back-up. My word!!! I would take a stab at it if I was able! Carry on. Regards,RK :o
