Emmons Decals

Post by Dan Murphy »

Hi Guys, FYI I have had a few orders that have taken longer expected for delivery. Also a few payments that have taken longer to arrive. I am not sure what's up with the mail. I put 2 orders of decals in my mailbox Thursday of this week and our mail didn't run till Friday. So just stay in contact with me and I will make sure everyone gets their order. When I receive funds for an order, I process it right then and your decals go out the NEXT DAY. I check my PMs every evening after work and several times on the weekends. :) Also let me know what you guys think ?? do you like em ? do they fit the pedal bar nice ? Input Please. :)

Legrande SKH sticker

Post by Lee McGuire »

Hi Dan:
Sent you another PM. Just in from out of town.
Your correct the original first SKH Emmons stickers just had the word Legrande in white on front of guitar.

Search my name, put my name in author box, choose topic Steel Guitars For Sale. Third post down from top from me titled SKH sold, shows a Rosewood Emmons SKH SD-10 with the original sticker on right front.

Thank you so much for addressing this for me so quickly!

God Bless,
Lee McGuire

Hey guys, we are making 20 Sho Bud Foil with black lettering Pedal Bar decals. :) The price of these decals depends on whether or not we can find a printable file. If we have to make a file from scratch it will take longer and will affect the cost of printing. We are going to have to screen print the Legrande decals. Thats the only way to get a clear background with white letters. That way they will work for any color of guitar. Thanks! :)

Thanks Dan. Looks a lot better than the ratty decal Mine started with...I did have to make a slight trim to the bottom of the decal to get it to fit.

Looks great. Yes I think the decal is a 16th too tall. Glad you like it. :)

I haven't thought about having any LL3 decals made. It's really expensive. The order I am still waiting on for the Clear background Legrande with white letters was messed up. going to call again and ask if it's on the way or not. Sorry for the delay. If there are enough people interested in LL3 LL2 decals let me know. the order I'm waiting on was a 125 pcs minimum and costs over 350 dollars.

Emmons Decals no longer available

Post by Dan Murphy »

After kindly being asked to stop making Emmons replacement decals by Kelcy at THE NEW EMMONS GUITAR Co. I will not be selling any more Emmons pedal bar decals and WILL NOT BE having any other kinds of Items with the Emmons NAME made ! As I stated in the beginning, I needed 1 for my LL2 I contacted the New Emmons company to buy 1 . I received no response, so I had my own made. I asked for two they made 50. They print shop I used has been in operation for 30 yrs and will not print copywritten material. My intention was to recover some of the expense. I haven't had any more made. There are 6 pedal bar decals left and they are going in the trash! Anyone needing replacement decals for Emmons guitars will have to contact the new Emmons co. :)
