MSA serial, Reece??

Hi

I'm about to buy an MSA D10 with serial 2C 6254. I would really appritiate to know what model and year it is. And also, was this guitar equipped with aluminum necks original?

Mathias....Serial number 2C6254 shows to be a red double 10 SS model which left the factory with 8 pedals and 2 knee levers. It was orginally shipped to Herb Remington. The specific date it was born was not entered into record. It did not originally have aluminum necks, nor did any of the older MSA production guitars.

Thank you Reece for an early christmas present! Which years were these made? One could guess it was born somewhere around '80, right?

Thanks again. I got it really cheap so I don't mind the aftermarket alunimium necks.

Yes, mid 1980.
