Was it Mullen or Sho-Bud? I haven't seen the video in awhile, and I thought it was a Sho-Bud because of the closeup of the fretboards. There's another video of the Eagles playing the song in Melbourne, Australia in 1995, and you can see the front of the steel, and it's a Sho-Bud.

Probably the most famous person by shear number of viewers attending was when Ron Wood played one during a Rolling Stones concert. I thought it was pretty rough around the edges but hey, he was playing pedal steel.

That Ron Wood's performance was in Dallas. The Stones played "Bob Wills is still the King" I agree, he was playing steel and introducing it to a bunch of new people.
