Well Stuart’s at it again with his f of x f(x). This time he is researching Chinese Music Styling in American Country Music.
He is looking for a Who done it, the Why is obvious. Increase sales in China (go for it! we see no harm in that)
He believes it is very intentionally and subtly placed in the background of modern American Country Music.
The resonator guitar with a bar or bottle neck and classic country and Red/Grass (Chinese Bluegrass) has caught on in China.
It stands to reason that it would naturally be more noticeable to the Chinese person’s ear, recognizing the music scales and phrasing as apposed to the American ear accustom to Western Styling.
It seems, less and less subtle as time goes by and Country music fly's off in all directions!
