Can anyone tell me what kind of pickups were original in a 1988 Zum D-10? They look very much like Emmons pickups.

| I believe Bruce used a lot of Truetone pickups, that's what mine had and they were superb |

| Bruce did wind his own single-coils. I had them in the three D-10 ZumSteel Guitars that I've owned (an '83, '87 and 2002) and they were really great pick-ups. I believe Dave is correct though in that Bruce started using Jerry Wallace, Tru-Tones in the early / mid 2000s. If my memory serves me right, I believe Bruce had a lot to do with getting Jerry Wallace started in the single-coil pick-up business. |
