3/19/23
We had five steel players today.
Marty Neer
Beverly Harris
Rick Eves
Wayne Morton
Rick Crow
We had Drums, Guitar, Fiddle, Bass, and 3 Singers.
Ken Carter, OSGA staff drummer did the first set, and Rick Bevenue played the second set. They are great drummers and a little comic relief. Ken is about 5'10" and Rick is 6'10".
They have a small issue with the drum throne.
I'm not sure of how many tours or how long, but Rick has worked with Hank Jr.
On guitar was Charlie Archer, steel for Loretta Lynn and guitar for Conway Twitty. (Last meeting we had Gene Crain, steel for Roy Clark)
On fiddle was Hayden Bramlet of Skiatook. He is busy all over Oklahoma. A great fiddler and VP of The Okla fiddlers Assn.
On Bass and vocals was Doug Cole from the Joplin area and Moccasin Bend Band.
We had a nice crowd of listeners and I felt like we played better than we have in awhile.
Overall a really good meet. It wore me out!
Beverly, your job is to add anything that I have missed.
Rick
Did you notice Rick Bevenue, Rick Eaves & Rick Crow?
You can never have too many Ricks.

May meeting
Tom, We hope you are able to make it. It will be our last meeting before our show, so we may have a little time used for planning the show.
Be sure to bring your equipment. There's always room for one more.
