One my favorite albums with David Lindley was his collaboration with experimentalist guitarist Henry Kaiser, titled World Out Of Time, based on music from the island of Madagascar. Here are two tracks from that album:

OMG! Such a shock!
Rusty Young and David were my reasons that I picked up pedal steel and lapsteel. They both were so unique, yet everyone in the guitar world wanted to sound like them; still do.
