World Out Of Time

Post by Glenn Suchan »

One my favorite albums with David Lindley was his collaboration with experimentalist guitarist Henry Kaiser, titled World Out Of Time, based on music from the island of Madagascar. Here are two tracks from that album:

Damn!

David Lindley then b0b...this has been one heck of a sad week.

Both have contributed so much to steel guitar over decades!

And they live on through those contributions!

Rusty Young and David were my reasons that I picked up pedal steel and lapsteel. They both were so unique, yet everyone in the guitar world wanted to sound like them; still do.

Heaven has got to be nearly full now......

Waiter: "We usually tell them they're not going to make it."
