Junior Martin bar

Post by David Laveau »

I read about a bar that was made for a Cajun player, Junior Martin. It was reportedly made by BJs bars quite awhile ago.

Anyone have one laying around? Or information on the unit?

Here's a mention of Junior

Junior is still building his Accordion’s as far as I know. He lives in Lafayette, La. You could try calling him at his shop in Lafayette, you never know, he might have or know where to find his bar.😁😎

I got one of Junior's fine accordions a few years back. Didn't know he played steel though.

Agree, he's still building - the shop is producing at least... I've heard he's still using the bar that he received :)

I have some friends that are big fans of his from down the bayou (I grew up in Slidell & NOLA)

I'm also a fan, but have an old Bon Cajun from Mr Miller

I have one of Mr. Millers accordions as well--marked Bon Tee Cajun. It was my dad's--he and mom used to go down to Larry's shop from time to time park their RV in his driveway and eat lots of good Cajun food...
