Silicone Eyeglass Nose Pads for Finger Picks

Post by Dave Sky »

I use nose pads on my metal finger picks. If you do this too, here is what I use. They are silicone, stick on, and stay in place, very comfortable. I realize everyone has a way to make picks work for them. This is my way. On Amazon: Silicone Adhesive Eyeglass Nose Pads - 20 Pairs Nose Pads for Eyeglasses

I used heat shrink tubing on the Dunlops at the bottom. I actually prefer the Acri picks due to the way they cover the cuticles without digging in. I also coated the inside of these brass picks with clear nail polish to keep them from turning my fingers green. Hope it works. That all said, I think the eyeglass nose pads are a great idea!

That's a great idea, (tho I never really had a problem of picks falling off). Long threads, lots of people having fingerpicks fall off these days

The idea for nose pads came from the Forum. I tried different pads and settled on the silicone. They make the fingerpick comfy. I haven’t had picks fall off but got tired and sore of the picks digging into my fingers. The pads keep my fingers pain free. I will try the fingernail polish as like the brass picks. Thanks for more great ideas!

Those are some cool tips for pick users. I've tried many different picks and I always regress back to just fingernails.
