Steve Collins from Cremona Alberta

Just played the celebration of life for Steve Collins and his family at the Cremona community hall last nite. Steve passed away on Feb. 1 after a long battle with cancer. The event at the hall was a beautiful event with a full house of friends relatives and pickers and singers. His former bandmates were there and many tears and laughs were had. I was lucky to have met Steve about 20 yesrs ago when he came over to my place to lock horns with me and our steels. He was a sweet guy and a great player. I found out from the celebration what a great father and band mate he was. I was proud to have been part of his send-off and to have known him.
