Whoever buys it better buy that Jack Lalanne juicer further down the page too...I bet that thing is HEAVY!Bet it sounds great too!

| On picture 16 (going left to right), on the front (logo) side, there is a tuning wrench near the first fret, and what looks to be either another different kind of wrench or possibly a small oil can up near fret 17. |

Hey Big Bud, you know a cool Sho Bud when you see one, right!!?? Looks familiar , huh??  I'm proud to say that I have one almost exactly like that, and it was sold to me years ago by none other than mr Thompson himself. Back then there was no internet or steel forum, just a random classified ad that I happened to see in a magazine. A phone call from Helsinki to Portland and I was a happy new owner of a -63 Sho Bud!! Someone should grab that puppy, they don't make the like that anymore!! And actually, they're not that heavy really, I just weighed mine when we flew to Norway and it was 26kg in the case, would that be, say like 55-60 pounds??? Why is the pickup slot so wide in the pickup/changer castings? Are those brass fingers in the E9 neck?
Is this the third time this guitar has been on eBay this season? I know the Compactra sold six or seven weeks ago.

I was looking at this guitar, too (just looking). I've got the S10 version of this. I agree, though, they don't show up as often as later models. Good price.

This looks like it would be a good subject for a complete refurrbishing! For it's age, it appears to still be in pretty good condition! If I was looking for an older Sho-Bud, I'd buy it for the right price!

Cartman dude, it's a Digsby and yes, made there in the beautiful Schwartzenfornia 
I did get rid of that Bud once, and now I have it back. Lucky me, I didn't realize how much I missed it until I got it back.
I just noticed the wide PU slots on the ebay guitar, I think someone cut some metal off to be able to slide the PU's back and forth. |
