The National Swing Band of Texas will be performing at the Abilene Country Club Feb. 11, 2023.
The National Swing Band of Texas is composed of 21 musicians performing country, western swing and big band music all rolled into one performance!
Imagine famed artists' such as Bob Wills, Frank Sinatra, Patty Page, Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Rosemary Clooney and Ray Price all on one stage.
From the driving rhythm section of the trumpets, trombones and saxophones to the haunting sound of the fiddle and steel guitar, this band delivers a unique, well-orchestrated evening of entertainment.
Led by the unmistakable, stunning vocals of Tommy Hooker, award winning steel guitarist, Steve Palousek and the multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and fiddle player, Steve Story, this is a night you will not want to miss.
On a fun note, several Abilene musicians will be on stage too!
