Has anybody compared the DIY build Planet Waves cables/plugs to the Bullet cables? Differences in the plugs etc? How about sound differences?
I notice the PWs offer a circuit breaker plug to eliminate hook up pops and buzzes.
I've used the GLs forever, but I'm thinking I want a little heavier cable that coils and lays better.
I know George has a bigger cable, but for now I'm just interested in opinions on the other 2 brands named above.
Anyone A/B Planet Waves v. Bullet solderless cable systems?

I have both and like them equally. I don’t have the circuit breaker type, just a regular plug. Probably a failing on my part but I never had great luck with George L solderless cables. Most of them have failed on me.

Not sure if the solderless cables are Planet Waves -- I just know them as D'Addario. D'Ad Planet Wave that I'm seeing online seem to be assembled cables.
Can't compare them with Bullet -- never tried that.
I love the D'Ad's. I've got a few cables and I like them much much better than GL's. I'm unimpressed and uninterested in the highs of the GL's. Don't need them or particularly want them. The sound of the D'Ad's? They sound fine.
They assemble with a screw that you simply screw until it stops. None of this just far enough but not too much nonsense. And the right angles are solid. You can breathe on them without them coming undone.
The cables are flexible and lay nicely. They are just a hair under 1/4"....15/64" or so. I've gotten mine at the forum store.
