Hello,
I’m hoping to get more info on my vintage Dobro. I’ve had it about 30 years. From what I have learned recently, I believe it is either a Model 19 or Model 25.
It appears to have been made by Regal due to the rounded headstock slots
It also appears to have been made in 1934 or later since it measures 3.5” at the butt
It has a wooden nut; was this stock or a backwoods repair?
Does anyone have thoughts on which model this is and a year of manufacture?
Thank you

The history of Dobro model numbers is twisted and hard to follow - good luck!
But I can say that the nut is not original. Is it actually a square-necked guitar? |

Looks like a 19, has cowboy chord fretboard wear so I'm guessing it's a round neck. '34 to 6 be my thoughts on a year. |

I have a 1933 Dobro Model 19 but it has round holes in the cover plate and the plate is stamped with patent number that is registered to "Dopyera".
