Who is the steel player w/Duane Eddy on Peace in the Valley

Post by Larry Lenhart »

I have long loved this great song and just ran across this version by Duane Eddy...anybody know who the steel guitarist is...I am guessing Lloyd Green and probably Floyd Crammer on piano. Beautifully played on steel, and guitar...very simple but nice !
(an old post on another Duane Eddy song said Larry Sasser played steel with Duane sometimes_that video is no longer out there on youtube, btw)

Are you perhaps listening to the version from the “Twang A Country Song” album with Buddy Emmons?

The whole album is great! Done in 1963 so he would have still been playing a Sho-Bud.
