Awesome. It's good to know it's still available.

Scottie's is currently out of stock of the JB book but more are due in next week from their printer, I ordered a copy and two of JB's C6 song arrangements.

JB's 2 book set currently comes in a 3 ring binder.

I will report again when I get them.

The book I purchased (I wrote a check to Jerry as he took a break at our table in the Surf Room in the mid-80s) looks like the one Doug posted, but it has a fuzzy red cover with gold trim. (Like a cross between the flocking underneath an Emmons redbelly and a velvet Elvis.) It came with two cassette tapes which have long since bit the dust.

Does anyone know whether material on the two cassettes is the same as what's now available from Scotty's on CD?

I've seen them with red cover, blue cover, spiral bound or in a 3-ring binder.
I would assume that whatever audio was on the cassettes was just transferred to CD, although I can't say for sure.

I have the English / Japanese version :

As for the CDs ... Bruce Clarke (Cumquat Records) ... took the tapes and digitally "cleaned" them up ... and put the songs on a couple of CDs

So they are identical (I have the cassettes and CDs)

I bought it this year, M. Scott is a great guy. The course took some months to find his way to Europe, passing customs, but it arrived. I love the book, I'm still in the C6 section, only after getting comfortable on C6 I will try the other tunings.
