Oahu Diana Deluxe Lap Steel Electric Guitar, 1938, made in Chicago, sunburst lacquer, mahogany body and neck, original brown tolex hardshell case.
Oahu's fanciest wood-body steel guitar, the Diana Deluxe was a direct descendant of the company's first electric guitar, originally introduced in 1938. The top is shaded mahogany with gold leaf stenciling. Strong 1 1/2" horseshoe pickup rarely available; tone and volume controls mounted on either side. A nice looking and very well-made prewar steel.
Scale length is 25 3/4 in. (654 mm.) Replaced tuner buttons, otherwise original. Checking not an issue, none thru finish. Excellent Condition.
Has this case/guitar ever traveled ? Don't think so.
