Buddy Emmons Sleeping At The Foot of the Bed

Post by Keith Hilton »

Below is the break in the middle of the Jimmy Dickens song Sleeping at the foot of the bed---done by Buddy Emmons and Phil Baugh.
Does anyone have a E9th or C6th tab for this?

Wow, thanks for posting this Keith. I've never seen this. It's fun to see how Little Jimmy responds to Buddy's fills in verse four...and that solo is fabulous!

What a good way to start the day... with a smile on my face... and Buddy tone and licks in my ear.

Ron;

Go to like 1:30 in the Dickens Video. I don't think Keith was talking about the harmony sections. A GREAT solo by the Big E!

(Of course, I could be wrong...)

Ernie

Yep, BE's 'solo' solo knocks me out.

When Keith Hilton referred to BE and Phil Baugh in the original post, I assumed Keith was referring to the 'Twin' solo lines by BE and Phil Baugh

(Of course, I could be wrong.....)

I was referring to the 'Twin' solo lines by BE and Phil Baugh. Can someone tab what BE played, only on the E9th neck? Ok, C6th will be OK?

OK, that video is wonderful -- Jimmy's guitar is pretty -- I like how he twirls it at the end -- Buddy awesome as ever
