sho bud pedal rod material?

i have a shobud ive recently refurbished underneath,as a result of this 4 of my pedal rods are short,i need to cut and weld a small lenghth in to make longer.anyone know what material i need?theyre either chromed steel or stainless,any info appreciated including thread type?rod dia?looks like 4mm to me,theyre 0.160"thats .003"above 4mm..

You can get 1-2 inch extenders for your pedal rods...I think I saw them on the Marrs music site.
