all leather moccasins, without the dopey rubber soul, and call it a day.. Soft and supple as wearing thick socks, and no one will call the health department because you dared play in stocking feet.
I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
no gear list for me.. you don't have the time......

I can’t see any need to play barefooted but I know some do. I can’t play in boots but do use just regular shoes of just about any kind that keep my ankle free.

It's a CMI, I've reached out to a buddy who has a machine shop to make me some non-permanent, beveled and smooth pads that bolt to the pedals with cross bars on the bottom.ajm wrote:Not that it matters, but since no one asked: What kind of PSG are you playing?
Picture of the pedals?
I played without shoes Saturday night, didn't get any negative comments
One guy said we were too loud, I guess... I don't think my feet had anything to do with that.

I play barefoot and was starting to have issues with the bottom of my feet.
I found these on amazon and keep them by my steel.
Just thin enough to feel like barefoot playing but they protect my soles. Good luck

I just bought these: https://astraldesigns.com/products/loyak-ms
They're water shoes but look like normal shoes. Super flexible and they fit my ridiculously wide and weird shaped foot. It's the only shoe I've found so far that I'm able to play pedal steel in.
