Well, uhh, yes. But it sure ain't a "vintage 1950's model", as the ad says it is. |

That's a mid 60's Sho Bud permanent, which unfortunately has lost its' inside neck, endplate handles and original tuning machines. Too bad, other than those, it seems to be in great shape and has the original PU's too. |

It has also had its undercarriage replaced with what look like MSA-style parts -- not necessarily a bad thing, esp. if one wanted to add more pedals and knee levers (which would be advisable if Cajun G major isn't your shtick). This would be a lot easier to work on than the original "permanent" undercarriage. However, this guitar wouldn't seem to have a lot of collector value at this point (unless it has some great story behind it). Thanks guys.........I hadn't seen that type of inlay before.
A cheaper "buy it now" might make it a candidate for a Coop conversion. |

Jimmy Day's first D10 Sho Bud had an inlay like that. |

Be careful about this seller. He's got it listed twice at two different "BUY IT NOW" prices. I bid on it early and he cancelled my bid (and all others) and restarted the auction. LAME! |

“Is this a real Sho~Bud”? Only my barber knows for sure, but; I haven't seen him in many, many years! . . . . Seriously, it does appear to be ‘what’s left’ of a Sho~Bud, but certainly not a 1950's model, as has already been stated!

Michael,
Email coop at:

He can fill you in on the price. I'm sure it varies greatly, depending on what you want. |
