Pot for old DeArmond volume pedal

I need a replacement 500k pot for the model 602 Rowe DeArmond volume pedal. I took apart the old pot and sprayed cleaner and now it is scratcher than ever.

Did you lube it after cleaning?

I took it apart and sprayed pot cleaner on the inside. What do you mean by lubricating it. Some kind of grease?
