Looking to hear some steel. Any recommended spots for steel in Nashville this weekend.

If you are there on October 7, check out Dee's Country Cocktail Lounge.

Outstanding entertainment by Joshua Hedley and the Hedliners.

He knows just about every old country song ever recorded...hence his nickname, Mr. Jukebox.

He pays guitar and fiddle and surrounds himself with wonderful musicians. He has several great pedal steel guitar players who rotate through.

Josh Hedley at Dee's is a great suggestion. They always sound incredible. Might even see ya over there. I'll be playing with Timbo at Roberts sunday night around 10:30 if you're still around.
You'll probably want to check the schedule over at Music City Bar too, or Nashville Palace. You'll often find a great steel player over there, especially at Music City bar, and you don't have to pay $25 for parking.

Hey Bill,

Nice to meet you for a minute. If you're still around tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) the band at Roberts will be a whole different thing, and lots of fun. The guitar player from Wendy Newcomer's gig yesterday will be fronting the western-swing band he's had at Roberts for many years, and I always look forward to playing with them whenever I get the chance.

Have fun wherever you go. There's always great music here if you know where to look.

The link still works. Do yourself a favor and watch the show.

Great job on that little "student model" guitar, Leo.

You sounded great.
