These Melberts are very high quality,powerful,great to play guitars. A little spendier than the SX but I am 100% sure you would be very satisfied with this guitar for a long time. Thank you for your interest. Mikee C

I had Bob build me a six string Melbert with a Dusenberg bender. I had to sell it after hand surgery on my right hand.
It was a very accurate, great build!

Cool! I want to do that on a 8-string though. I know several folks say skip the lap and bite the bullet and get a pedal but I think I want both eventually. I think I want to do C6 on the lap, and E9 on the pedal.
