Hi all. I'm new to the forum and the instrument here. I recently got my hands on a loaner ShoBud Maverick to learn on, but it needs a bit of maintenance before it's fully playable.
I'm currently looking for the small pull rod that goes with the knee lever assembly, but I can't seem to find one available anywhere.
In a perfect world I would just order one of these and call it a day:

I have every part to this assembly (the 5 hole bracket, and the ball/socket joint) but just need that little pull rod.
Does anyone on this forum have any suggestions on where to find one, or possibly have an extra laying around?
Anything is appreciated![/url]

Just pick up a 2"-3" partial thread 10-32 screw from the hardware store, cut the head off, bend a hook shape in a vise, done. You might also find a 10-32 hook or eye bolt you could modify more easily. Heat helps with bending if you happen to have a torch, but not required. Good luck!
