FS: Epiphone Electar 8 String Lap Steel - SOLD!

Very rare, very original 8 String 1949/1950 Epiphone Electar Lap Steel w/original Case. Currently tuned C6.
22 1/2” scale length.
Guitar is in very nice condition - few nicks of course after 75 odd years (see photos).
The case has tape along the seams but is perfectly functional.

What is the String Spacing at the bridge?
Would go great with my old 1940's Epiphone Electar Zephyr Amp.

Hi Andy -

you’re right it would look great with that amp!
Measuring across all strings at the bridge, it’s approximately :
2 5/8”

Between each string it’s approx:
7/16” (maybe a tiny bit more)

Okay, truth was the photo was 10 years before I was born. It was actually a photo for Jody Carver that I liked so much I just had to play with the script lettering in photoshop.

I sure hope Jody Carver won't mind me playing with his treasured photo?
Jokes aside, I really don't need another steel, but it's so nice and it will go so good with the amp.
