Psoriasis Blues

Post by Eddie Jaudouin »

Hello dear friends,

I'm currently going through an acute attack of psoriasis... I try to take care of myself by all means and old Angelus Resonator (1930's) blues & prayers. No more creams, chemical, they clog the pores of skin... I need help please, thanks buddy, Peace Bro.

Hey, Buddy.

have you been to a dermatologist? Of late, they've discovered that many of the psoriasis types are auto-immune diseases and are treating them systemically. For instance, I have plaque psoriasis and it is definitely an autoimmune disease. We started with steroid creams but got practically nowhere and jacked up my blood glucose. I am now on an oral drug called Otezla. Between that and the creams it is mostly contained.

You could try Tea Tree Oil.
I heard that could help with your problem.

Hello Bob
Thank you for your help. My dermatologist is on vacation. Of course, psoriasis can be an autoimmune disease. I tried creams but not cortisone. Here in France we also have Otezla. I pay attention to my diet and do an hour of walking in the morning in nature and I drink a lot of water. Thank you again and I wish you good health too.

Hello Erv,
Thanks for your help too. I tried the essential oil of tea tree... It relieves a little but it burns my skin a little. Thanks to you !

I have had success with a drug called Stelara. You might ask your Dermatologist about it.

A short course of UV light treatment can be helpful for quieting things down.
