Taylor T5 in Ovangkol wood. This versatile guitar can sound like anything from a tele to a strat to a hollow body to an acoustic. Slim neck. Good frets. Sounds and plays like it should.
$ 800 plus shipping from 98070 (Washington state).

Post by Michael Stephens »

Looks like a cool guitar and good price. Which model of T5 is this one?

It’s the T-5 LTD

Yes. T-5 LTD. And it is a cool guitar. Sounds like several different axes. From acoustic to strat to tele. Look up Doyle Dykes demonstrating it on you tube. Thanks! Tab

I always wondered what these guitars sound like. Is the body hollow inside like a Gibson ES-330, or have a block o' wood down the middle like a ES-335? Is is usable acoustically?

T5

It’s a hollow body. It’s not loud enough by itself to really play acoustically although when plugged in it really does sound like an acoustic guitar if you want it to. You can also run the selector switch to the other end (5 positions) and it sounds like a tele, strat, swing guitar etc. It takes a 9 volt battery. Had three pickups.

I'm take it if there are no known problems with the guitar.
