Seriously,maybe its a regional thing.
The bars we play,in warm weather long pants sorta look odd..nobody wears em.. whole lotta water on the NC - VA border, 90 % of where we play....

Here in Hawaii we all wear shorts in the band unless we’re giging at the hotels..shoes instead of flip-flops! Paddles on all my levers..
