Our good friend and president of Southern Illinois production has gone home to play with the angels. I will miss him very much 😢 prayers for his family

Oh my, this is shocking news for sure. Cord was such a gentlemen and great player, not mention a pillar in the
Illinois steel guitar community. Prayers and sympathies to his family.

I'm sorry to hear this sad news about Cord. My condolences go out to all of his family and friends. May he RIP.

Not a good way to start the day, hearing about Cord’s passing. He was always such a gentleman and friend to everyone. Prayers are going up for all of his friends and family.

I just got off the phone with Dan Burnham of BMI Guitars. Dan gave me this sad news. I met Cord years ago at the Illinois show along with Dave and Dow. You will have a hard time finding a better group of men. Rest In Peace my friend.

I’m so sorry to hear about this. Cord was great as a person, as well as great player. I’m really tired of losing so many great people.
