California steel players

Post by Jim McGinnis »

Any Steel players near Santa Barbara or Montecito California? My oldest son lives in Montecito. I would like to get together or meet steel players in this area when I visit or perhaps move near there.

Hey Jim, I just saw the price of gas in Mendocino at $9.64 a gallon. Are you sure you want to go there?

I didn't realize there were two towns that close in name.
But it's still in California and gas is extra high there!

Mendocino is almost 500 miles north of Montecito. 😮

Montecito doesn't have any songs written about it, yet.

When I was a kid, I thought Carpenteria and Carpeteria were related somehow!

And then down south here we have Claremont and Montclair.

Jim, I'm sure you'll find some PSG players in that area.

I live about 70 miles north of there in Arroyo Grande,
which is rural and I love it.

The Santa Barbara area is beautiful as you know and is
located about 45 miles north of Thousand Oaks, which I
think of as the entry to Los Angeles. More people that
direction....
Enjoy your travels.
