Ask Mickey.
He's very cool, (although a real busy guy.)
Emmons 12 p/p, Revelation, Black Widows, (& way too many assorted goodies...)
Drummer with a pedal steel fantasy. ;)

I found this post from Mickey using the search function.

"His Es are LKR and LKL, LKL raises all 3, LKR, lowers only 4,8...RKL pulls 1, 2, and lowers 6, and 11
LKV lowers 5, 10
RKR lowers 2, raises 7 1 step and lowers 9 1/2
Pedal B raises 3, 6, 11, Pedal C also raises 10 to C#
0 pedal is a Full Franklin...Mick
This is a duplicate of my 12 string G2s"

Not sure if it is still current, but as others have said here, just ask him, he will tell you!

LKL Raises 4 8 12, 1/2 step
LKR Lowers 4 8, 1/2 step (left the 12th off for maj7)
LKV Lowers 5 10, 1/2 step
RKL Raises 1, 1 step, 2, 1/2 step-Lowers 6, 1 step (split to 1/2)
RKR Lowers 2 1 step, (mechanical 1/2 stop) raise 7, 1 step lower 9 1/2 step
Pedal 1, Lowers 3 1/2 step Raises 9 1/2 step
lowers 10 1 step
Pedal 2 raises 5 10, 1 step (both split)
Pedal 3 raise 3 6 11, 1/2 step
Pedal C raises 4 5 10 whole steps (4,5, 10 all split)
All whole lowers or raises have effective splits...!!
Hope this helps Paul...Email me directly if I can help you with understanding my logic!!..

Paul, I saw your post, and of course got a few emails from friends regarding your question. I see now you're in the UK. Rearranging your pedal/lever functions is rather easy if you understand the basics. Even though your levers may be in a different order, we generally CALL them the same thing...ie: E lever, (lowers Es...etc..Many players learn with OTHER than Emmons setup with no issues whatsoever...Buzz Evans for instance... ...Maybe a video is in order!!! :whoa:

Im looking to set my Fessy up as an Ext E9 now.
What changes would you add (extra pedals 5-8 ) if you had an 8X5, or is 4X5 sufficient for ext E9?

Here's a better idea, Mickey...

Mickey, try lowering string 12 to C# with LKL, very useful change, gives you a boo-wah kind of root in the bottom. Raising it to F is just boring! Ha.

You flying to CA anytime soon?

Hi Mickey
Yea I am in the UK ( for my sins )
Thanks my leavers has different names to yours according to the chart I had with the guitar, I know what you mean by just altering the letters around should work out the same apart from a few, Ie my E dosent lower the E's on my chart it is D

RKL Raises 1,1 step Lowers 6, 1 step. but dosent do anything to string 2

RKR lowers 2,1/2 (step machanical stop) then lowers 2, again 1/2 stop and 9,1/2 step but dose nothing to string 7

So I dont know if it is right..
Thanks for your time Regards Paul (uk)
