Instrument Backup

Post by Joe DePascale »

I’m wondering if someone could help me out - I play at home for my own enjoyment but I’m looking for a unit ( I don’t know what it’s called ) that has an assortment of instruments that you can choose from to be played in the background.
Any help is appreciated appreciated.
Thanks - Joe

Another option for backings is to type the name of a song into YouTube followed by the word "karaoke". There are thousands of karaoke backing tracks in different styles for most popular songs, and you can use the speed control to slow them down or speed them up without changing the key.

Great tip, Donny. I just tried it. Click Settings, then Playback Speed. Customize lets you get any speed you want.

At last I can play "Giant Steps" . . . but at half speed!
