Carter S12 5p5kn Black $2600. Shipped CONUS

Post by Dwight Lewis »

Image Have Black Carter 5p5kn, Bl712 installed, extra single coil pup to go with it. I believe this has the BCT Neck. Plays and sounds wonderful. Through study of Zane Beck and the Sacred Steel tunings, I have come up with a mixture that serves well in Gospel, Country and Rock....IMHO😬....But I would rerod the undercarriage to an extended E9th for $100. before shipping, if that's what is desired. 🤓

Any pic of undercarriage. I’m will have to re-rod the guitar for standard setup and am wondering how difficult it will be

Hey Dwight.
I have a 2003 Carter 12 string that I tuned similarly to yours (after many discussions with Zane).

I notice you have the double "E"s for sacred stuff.
I play some Americana, but mostly Ambient, Jazz and variations in-between.
Good luck with the sale.
These are great guitars, folks.

Hi John. Yes I did alot of research and consulted with Mr. Zane at one point and find that what would work for me. And yes, it's a versatile tuning that I really love.

The serial # looks like 00175033, correct? That would mean this guitar was completed on Feb 2, 2005 as per Carter's numbering system, so yes, it would have BCT. Nice looking guitar and a good deal. I had one just like it, these guitars are very easy to re-rod and change the copedent on.

Yes this includes shipping, I discounted the price. Set up will be your responsibility unless you want me to do it. I can setup for 100. Bucks that will include new strings and setup( with what pulls I have currently).

Thanks
