It's a great guitar for the price and what it is. They operate well, are lightweight (maybe too lightweight) and sound good. The changer and undercarriage design intentionally limits it's potential as a pedal steel since there is no movable bellcranks and the changer limits the amount of lowers you can have but I have modded them to accomodate more lowers. I have also put real telescoping legs on them to give them some weight so they don't walk on slick floors. If you are happy the way it's presently setup then it's all good. I recommend them for beginners if you are not sure if you'll be playing pedal steel for the rest of your life. It's just as the name implies, a starter pedal steel.
