Wtd 12 string wide mount p-up

Post by Frank Parish »

I'm looking for a 12 string BL712 or a hot single coil. It must fit a Mullen 12 string guitar.

U-12 pick-up

Post by Paul Hubbard »

Frank,
I've used an Alumitone on my Kline U-12 for about 10 years. It measures 4.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. It's hot and I've been very pleased with it. You may try checking out Alumitone's site for their specs. Just passing along a suggestion.
Good Luck,
Paul

I have an E-66 that came out of a RP 12 string Mullen.

John
I have a George L 1-12 in it right now. I need something a bit hotter but I'll use this one till I find one. Thx!

You might want to consider a new pickup from Steeltronics.com.
Scott designed one for my (hard-to-fit) Kline U12, and it's clearer and more robust (hotter?) than the George L that was siliconed in.
