This is a prototype for a guitar amp using a 1U preamp/effects unit in the top (not included) and the 200W plate amp installed in the back.
I had a Digitech GSP-1101 in the top and a JBL K-120 in the baffle, with tuned port. This system was capable of producing serious volume.
A flip handle on the bottom allows it to be tilted back a few degrees.
Not sure of the wood - it is solid, not plywood or MDF. The Grill has a Weber Beam Blocker which disperses high frequencies from the speaker.
The baffle has T-nuts for front-mounting the speaker. Both baffle and back are removable.
