Can I get just one .0115 string?
It could be the solution to my problems both personal and scientific....
[Footnote: now I am a man, or a real pedal steel player. I put a used .012 on G# Sunday (store closed) to see if it would do a full step lower. It worked but broke upon raising, and bloodied my finger! I love rites of passage.]
I would also take a used .115 from someone else lame enough to keep used strings. |

If you want ,I will send you some .011's free.
But if you're having a problem with the third string, why go thicker. Try a .010.May eleminate the breaking problem.

Charlie,
I've been using Jag Wire's for some time now,
but I just recently went from .011 to the
.0115. It has lasted twice as long as the .011's and hasn't broke yet. |

I put a set of Jagwires (from b0b, of course!) on my old MSA many months ago and love the tone, still sound new and no breaks yet. I'm sold on them. [This message was edited by Jim Phelps on 10 October 2006 at 10:51 PM.] |
