Pleased to announce our film is playing at Oxford Film Festival in Oxford Mississippi!
Playing before our film is a documentary called Short Life of Trouble: The Legend of G.B. Grayson. "Meet one of the most influential musicians in the history of bluegrass and country music that nobody has ever heard of."
Playing after our film is a doc called Invisible: Gay Women in Southern Music. It is about female writers in Nashville and features, Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Pam Tillis, Mary Gauthier, Chely Wright, Kye Fleming, Jess Leary, Dianne Davidson, Bonnie Baker, Ruthie Foster, Pam Rose, Mary Ann Kennedy, Cheryl Wheeler, Virginia Team, Rodney Crowell, Gretchen Peters, Cidny Bullens (formerly Cindy Bullens), Jessie Scott, Robert Oermann, Mary Bufwack amongst otehrs.
We are excited to have a slot between these two great films and would love to meet anyone there!
Please help get the word out to anyone in the Oxford, Tupelo, and Memphis area. If we can fill seats for OxFilm it will help our chances at bigger festivals.
I'll attach a link which has a short trailer for the documentary.

I would like to mention here that the guy playing guitar in the trailer is a fellow by the name of Roger Miller from Cedar Falls Iowa. Roger is also one heck of a steel guitar player. Also the brains behind this documentary, Nathan and Kelsey were participants in a program that I was involved in the origin of called The Jump Start Academy. It was started by Dale Theimessen, Lefty Schrage, and I during the early days of the Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Show. It involved picking students and giving them a guitar, amp, seat, and learning materials for a year to see if they really wanted to play. Nathan and Kelsey are past students. Also a fellow by the name on Philip Sterk who one day when I turned on the Today Show there he was playing for Midland. It still goes on.

"One of the best instruments for delivering emotion"
Jerry Byrd called the steel "the most emotive instrument". He also called pedal players "pedal pushers".
Nice to see Mike Daley getting some face time.
Looking forward to the release.
