In the late 80s, someone brought a bunch of "Buddy Emmons For President" bumpers stickers to Scotty's.
Anyone know the story behind those? I was surprised to see I had stashed one in an unrelated book.

When I was in Hiroshima in '89, John and a couple of other Doobies had been hired to back a Japanese star, Eikichi Yazawa, for a tour. John only played guitar and no steel.
I had a chance to chat with him after the show.
A fond memory.
