I'm on a Beer Can!

Post by Doug Beaumier »

This is kind of cool. Timberyard Brewing in central Mass. has a new Rosie Porter beer. I've been playing in Rosie's band for about four years and we play at Timberyard often. So a tiny me and my Mullen made it onto the can. Cheers!

Too bad they didn't use the other image where the steel is up front. Oh well, at least I'm on the can!

So, does this mean free beer for everyone
registered on this site or is that a bit optimistic?... :D
I have stuff.
I try to make music with it.
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it doesn't.
But I keep on trying.

I love beer. A lot. I REALLY love a good Porter. My red 335 is named "Rose". I'm in NH, and I will be looking for that! What could go wrong?

What song do you open with, "Hey Porter", or "Working Man Brews"?
Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun.

Very cool Doug!

The only other steel player I know that made it on a beer label is our local resident celebrity hippie steel player, Barry Sless. Looks like his right hand made it on an early version of the label. 😂 I think he’s playing this weekend at the Ryman Theater with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead.
